Our Student Ministries High School Students will be putting on the Summer Clubs VBS 2011 June 27th - July 1st, 6-7:30 pm @ Good Shepherd Community Church, for 4 year olds up to 5th graders.

High School Students
You’ll play games, do skits, sing songs, read bible stories, give out prizes and snacks, and generally have an all around great time bringing God’s word to kids in the community.

High School Students, please be at church by 5 pm to help set up and prepare for the evening. We’ll be done around 8:30.

In-Town Summer Clubs are mandatory in order to participate the Out of Town Clubs.

But before you can do that you gotta get Summer Clubs VBS training.

Training is mandatory for ANYONE that wants to participate in any of our Summer Clubs.
Friday, June 24th, 5 to 9 pm, room S107 (Pizza dinner provided)
Saturday, June 25th, TBA


Out of Town Clubs
We will be partnering with churches and ministries in Utah, Montana,
and California and helping them reach their communities.

Only students who have been trained and helped with our In-Town Summer Clubs will be able to participate.

UTAH / MONTANA / CALIFORNIA
Each trip costs $350 (which includes a $40 non-refundable deposit)

More information will come once you’ve been placed on one of the teams. You may contact the Student Ministries office at Good Shepherd Community Church if you have any questions or concerns.

Please turn in your permission slip by June 24th to reserve your spot on one of these teams. We’ll let you know at the end of the week of Summer Clubs (July 1st) which team you will be going on. We have only a certain number of spots available so hurry up and get in that permission slip!

Mark your calendars!

The Student Ministries Senior Banquet will be on June 8th at 6 pm. This is a time for us and your families to come together and celebrate you! We'll have dinner, dessert and just a fun time hanging out!

The banquet will be held at Good Shepherd Community Church and will cost $3 per person.

We'd also like to have a slide show of all the graduating seniors that will be at the banquet but we'll need your help to do so. If you could submit a baby and senior picture, that would be awesome! Write your name on the back so we can make sure they get back to you! We need your pictures by Wednesday June 1st.

High School Baptism

We will be having our Post Dunes High School Baptism this Wednesday evening, March 16th at 7 pm in the South Worship Auditorium at Good Shepherd Community Church.

If your child/grandchild/sibling/friend/neighbor is being baptized we want you to join us! Let's celebrate together with these students as they proclaim their faith in our heavenly Father proudly and boldly!

If you are a high school student and are interested in being baptized that evening, please contact Blake Layton or Tabitha Jones at the church office.We'll get you all set up.

Jr High Saturday event

The scheduled Saturday (12th) "E" event for the Jr High group has been canceled.

There will, however, be the regular Jr. High class during the Saturday evening church service.
