High School will meet again on December 1st.

The all nighter is TOMORROW NIGHT!!!

So, the All Nighter is tomorrow night! It's gonna be so MUCH FUN!!!

If you've signed up, GREAT!

If not, that is okay, you can still come!

Just be at the church Friday night by 10 pm sharp with your money and permission slip and we'll take care of ya!

(online registration will be closed today at 3pm and no one will be in the office Friday - to rest up for the event)

See all you crazy kids Friday night!

The November 19th Jr High LOST MYSTERY ALL-NIGHTER

We are having an all nighter, folks.
 (drop off)
NOVEMBER 19TH
Friday Night (LATE!)
10 pm

 (pick up)
NOVEMBER 20TH
Saturday Morning (EARLY!)
7 am

Cost is only $16 bucks (pay here)

And don't forget the permission slip

Attention parents:
  1. Please drop students off by 10 pm, NO LATER. The bus will leave the parking lot at 10:15 pm SHARP! Pick up your student in the morning at 7 am.
  2. We will have separate rooms for sleeping: one for the boys and one for the girls. Each room will have a chaperone.
  3. This event is open to any and all Jr. Highers, so have your kids invite along their friends!
  4. Part of the fun of our event is having the students be surprised and not know where they are going, hence the “MYSTERY”. If you wish to know where we’ll be throughout the evening, that is perfectly fine and dandy...but shhhh, it’ll be our little “mystery”. (contact info below)
  5. For our Mystery event it would be great if you could let us know by Wednesday, the 17th, if your student is planning on attending. Get those permission slips in as soon as you can, or at least call and get your students name on the list so we can plan accordingly. You can let us know via phone or email if that is easiest. You can also sign up online HERE.
  6. Contact Tabitha Jones at Good Shepherd Community Church by phone at 503.663.505 (x.246) or email at tabitha.jones@goodshepherdcc.org

LOST RETREAT - no longer...

Yep, that's right. If you signed up for the LOST retreat that was happening this coming weekend then you've probably already heard the sad news...it's been canceled.

Unfortunately, we did not meet the camps minimum number of students. In order to be good stewards of our budget we could not cover the remaining balance for students that had not signed up. We are so very sorry that it had to come to this and at this late hour. We tried to give it as much time as possible and let those last minute sign-ups come in that usually do...but they didn't...so we were forced to make this tough decision (that was no fun, I might add).

For those who did sign up and pay already, don't worry, we will be issuing everyone refund checks as soon as possible (aka. next week).

Also, in lieu of this retreat, we will be having an all night event at Good Shepherd Community Church Friday, November 19th. More information on that to come ASAP!!! AND it will be quite a bit cheaper. :)

Please, feel free to call us or email us any time with questions.

LOST Retreat LAST CALL!!!

Alright folks, we are getting down to the wire. If you haven't yet signed up for the retreat that is coming up this weekend please (PLEASE) let us know by emailing us, calling us (503.663.505), writing a note in the sky...whatever you gotta do to inform us that you are so excited to go with us on this awesome retreat! The sooner the better. We need to know how many people are going so we can let the camp know, and the sooner the better. So please help us out and give us the heads up on your retreat status. And if you could let us know by Wednesday morning that would be even more awesome! Thanks a ton everyone!

Planning and packing for the LOST Retreat.

Basic info for you to read, retrain, follow, and just basically love.

JR. HIGH FALL BROCHURE!

Here is the Fall brochure giving you all sorts of details on what is coming up this year...well, until december, at least.

Print one off for your self or come on out tonight to LOST, our Jr. High program on Tuesday nights that meets at Good Shepherd at 7:00 pm.

OOPS!! We made a boo

Well, folks, I made a mistake...that never happens right? Wrong, and I'm here to prove it to ya.

I've been telling you the wrong start-up dates for Jr High and High School.

But don't you worry. I'm here to correct my mistake.

So, without further ado...
  • Jr. High LOST's Fall Kick-Off will be Tuesday, September 14th.
Not September 7th, like I originally said.
  • High School's Fall Kick-Off will be Wednesday, September 15th.
Not September 8th, like I originally said.
So, there ya go. Please don't show up on either the 7th or the 8th, but please please please do come out Tuesday, the 14th, and Wednesday, the 15th. Please tell everyone you know, pass the word around to help us out.

IMPORTANT SALT RETREAT INFORMATION FOR YOU

You can print the SALT Retreat permission slip HERE.

Also, one thing we forgot to add in the letter that was sent out about the SALT Retreat was where we'd be staying. Oops! Slipped right past us. So to ease all the parents minds, the retreat will be at Son Lodge in Welches.

Things to Remember:
1. Students need to be at the church between 9 and 9:30 am Saturday morning (August 28th).
2. Students MUST have a signed permission slip to attend this retreat. Shouldn't be too hard since everyone received on in the mail. Just to clarify, I did say "must" already, right? Oh good, because I meant it. Students MUST have a signed permission slip to step foot on that shuttle. :)
3. Cost is $100. If that is going to be a problem, please call Tabitha at the church office (503.663.5050, x.246) to work something out.
4. Students will be back at the church around noon time Monday, August 30th.
5. Students will want to bring a swim suit.

Hmmm...I think that is all for now.

What?

We wanna know something.

What do you, as the student or as the parent, want to see more of on this little blog of ours?

Please help us make this better and more helpful by giving us feedback...that is the only way we make it better and suited for you guys. :)

Thank you!!

SALT RETREAT!!!!

We are having our annual SALT Invitational Leaders Retreat coming up the last weekend of August, Saturday the 28th to Monday the 30th. This retreat is an invite only retreat for Juniors and Seniors. We can't wait to spend some time up on the mountain with everyone, boating and digging into the word and worshiping together. This will hopefully be a great time to connect with everyone and get excited about reaching our campuses for Jesus. If you need more information or aren't sure if you are invited give us a call at the church and we'll connect, (503) 663-5050.

Jr. High Dates...And High School too

Well just in case you weren't sure entirely sure, Jr. High will not be meeting during the month of August. That means that we will not be having our regular Tuesday night gatherings or our weekend classes. We will start again on Tuesday, September 7th.

Also, High School group is not meeting during August and will kick off the year on Tuesday, September 8th.

SEE YOU ALL THEN!!!
