July 30-August 2nd
Register by July 15th for discount price
We will have a blast as we
learn about God while in his creation.
When: We will be
leaving Good Shepherd Monday morning July 30th at 9am and returning
Thursday afternoon, August 2nd.
Students will call on the way home.
Who: This camp is
for all incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th
graders.
Leaders: We have great leaders who will be taking care of students. We will have our own cooks, camp nurses, and others who will be ministering to students.
Cost: $145 if registered by July 15th ($50 deposit reserves your spot)
$155 after July 15th
What to Bring: A
tent if you have one. We will have plenty but please let us know if you have
one we could possibly borrow and how many it sleeps. We will be contact with you
to confirm if we need it or not.

High School Summer stuff
June 25-29
The students play games and sing songs with the kids, read them bible stories, give out prizes and snacks and generally have a great time bringing God’s word to our community.
Please let Tabitha know if you wish to participate
High School Students, please be at church by 5 pm to help set up and prepare for the evening. We’ll be done around 8:30.
Please note: Participating with VBS is mandatory in order to participate the Out of Town Summer Clubs.

June 22 is 6-9 pm (pizza dinner)
June 23 is 9 am - 1 pm (snacks provided)
Training is mandatory for ANYONE that wants
to participate in any of our Summer Clubs (VBS & Out of Towns).

July 13 - 22
This year we will send teams of students to Utah and Southern California. While there the students will spend time running a VBS, doing service projects and growing and having fun together as a team. If you are looking for a purpose this summer while having a ton of fun with your friends, check out one of our Out Of Town Summer Clubs.

So, wear the ugliest Christmas sweater you can find and bring a gift for the gift exchange.

Middle School All Nighter
November 18, 9 pm, to November 19, 7:30 pm
Cost is $35 and includes laser tag, unlimited arcade games and food
Doors will open at 9pm, please do not arrive early. From Good Shepherd we’ll head over to ULTRAZONE for the night. We’ll be back to the church by 7 am.

HIGH SCHOOL HALF NIGHTER
Hey High School Students!
Come hang out with us for a night of fun.
6:15pm - 1am
We'll meet at the church before we head out
and come back to the church at the end of the night.
First, we’ll hit up Sky High Sports for some jumping action, grab a bite of pizza because we’ll be pretty hungry and then head on over to North Clackamas Aquatic Park to work on our swan dives.
Cost is $20
Please be sure to fill out the
GSCC permission slip
AND
the Sky High Sports waiver.
You MUST fill out both or you will not be able to participate at Sky High Sports.

All Middle School students, 6-8th grades,

and there's even free food!!

If you received a letter in the mail inviting you to the Salt Retreat that is this weekend, August 27-29, then you can print a permission slip here. Please also call or email Tabitha Jones at the church office to let her know if you are or are not going.
And just in case you need a reminder:

Times: Meet at church by 11 am Saturday, Aug. 27. We’ll be back to the church around noon on Monday the 29th.
Cost is $100
What to pack: the usual retreat stuff: sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, two modest swim suits
(or t-shirt to go over a bikini, there is a pool at the camp and a river near it), bible, the basics…basically.

WILD WAVES - AUGUST 16
MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!!!
Tuesday, August 16th, the Middle School group will be heading up to Wild Waves theme park for the day! Loads of rides and tons of water! You won't want to miss out on this trip!
Be at the church at 8 am, we'll be leaving before 9. We'll be back around 10 pm.
Cost is $35. Bring a sack lunch or money for lunch at the park, we’ll provide dinner. Please wear a modest swim suit and don’t forget a towel and sunscreen.

You’re Invited: ALL middle school students with their families!!!
WHAT: Family day at the beach with surfing/boogie boarding, BBQ, Frisbee, football, FUN!!!!
WHEN: Saturday, August 6th, 2011
WHERE: Meet @ Pacific City, (about 20 min North of Lincoln City), directions on back. I will be there by 10 am waiting for you and your family for a great day in the sand and sun!!!!!
WHY: A fun day of hanging out and relaxing at the beach!
We will bring the BBQ Grill & Hot Dogs….bring sides to share and any other meat if you would like to grill something else.

We are postponing WATER WARS because of the yucky weather.
Come on out though, we are still going to meet and do our regular Teusday evening program!
